Our outfits are based on vintage styles whereby they have several layers of clothing, such as pantaloons, petticoats, dresses and pinafores, and each is individually handmade for that particular doll. The fairies are the exception as they have fairy tutus, pantaloons and wings- extra layers would restrict their flying!

The clothing fabrics co-ordinate for each doll, and our dolls have individual descriptions of what colours and items they are wearing. We really focus on details, with lots of bows, buttons, ribbons and lace edging. Some of our dolls are themed, such as our dancer dolls and fairies, but others are created from fabrics that we have found on our travels and think are gorgeous. For example, we brought a lot of materials back from our time spent living in New Zealand a few years ago, and have incorporated many of these lovely fabrics into our doll outfits.

The dolls are made from cotton calico or linen and all clothing fabrics are 100% cotton. All threads, buttons, lace and ribbons are of utmost quality. They are stuffed with polyester filling which is non-toxic, hypo-allergenic and flame retardant. The yarn for the hair varies depending on the style, but includes wool, wool-acrylic and alpaca blends. Please do not wash or tumble dry the ragdolls.

Some of the dolls have striped legs which can’t be changed. Others have integrated shoes and hats which also can’t be changed, and this is specified on each doll description. However the rest of the clothes can be removed, and we are happy to make extra outfits for your doll, such as with hobby themes or particular uniforms. Please email us for further information.

Our dolls are all distinctive and unique and we want them to be treasured for a lifetime, as keepsakes and collectables as opposed to toys. We love them for the memories they create, to remind you of that time when you graduated, or the hobby you enjoy so much, or perhaps the birth of a new baby.
